a New Exclusive Experience revealed

I’m opening the door to something a little different…
Soon, I will open a few exclusive spots for Burlesque Portraits: a private experience, where I will create a drawing just for you, inspired by vintage Burlesque, corsets, feathers, and that exquisite moment where femininity becomes performance.

The world of burlesque is for me a constant source of inspiration, ironic, theatrical, sensual, and deeply empowering.
Here are a few small curiosités, often forgotten, that reveal its original spirit:

The word “burlesque” was born in Italy  from burlesco, meaning playful.

 Did you know the early burlesque stars weren’t sirens but comediennes?
Sharp-tongued, quick-witted women who parodied the opera and men in power… all while wearing lace and a smirk.

And those legendary fan dances?
Created not to seduce, but to trick censors. A single feather and no one could say where skin began or modesty ended.

To me, burlesque isn’t about showing, it’s about owning.
A ritual of self-adoration, of playing with power and your unique sensuality.
Of loving and celebrating your body not because it’s perfect, but because it’s yours.

This is where the idea of creating Burlesque Portraits was born.
